My two years on YMT were the two greatest years of my life so far. Both years were very different, very exciting and more beneficial than I think ever know. l was prompted to pray more, love more, and think less about myself. I’d never known much at all about our beautiful Catholic Faith and may not have ever looked into it had I not served on YMT. The support of community life was also a great environment to seek direction through daily Eucharist, praying with the Scriptures, brotherhood and pastoral care. If I had not served I feel I would never have even considered a call to the priesthood. Team rocks, and really did rock my world. I always give thanks to God for the amazing adventures of those two years. A day doesn’t go by without me noticing how much I’m being repaid for leaving ‘houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for His name’s sake.
