The first YMT to begin in 1986, YMT Sydney has pioneered a new style of youth ministry in this country, working with teenagers across Sydney, Parramatta and Wollongng. Inspiring kids in schools such as Waverley College, St Vincents College Potts Point, Oakhill College and Holy Spirit Lakemba. YMT Sydney has a reputation for creativity, professionalism and a unique ability to connect with students on their level. Their Elevate Youth Group is run at St Michael’s Baulkham Hills every Friday night at 6pm.

Heading up Sydney YMT is Nick Seselja. An inspiring man of deeply committed faith, Nick is one of the finest young youth leaders in the country, with a maturity and strength way beyond his years. Easy going and down to earth, Nick relates to people out all levels and has a particular rapport with teenagers. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Theology at the Catholic Institute of Sydney, is a powerful worship leader and was also key in the recent development of Brotherhood Ministry, a Catholic ministry for raising up strong men of faith. Nick is supported in management by Jo Mascarenhas as Ministry Coordinator. Close to finishing her degree in Econmics/Law at the University of Sydney, Jo is a woman of deeply convicted faith, who is a powerful inspiration to young women of this generation. A talented public speaker and blessed with great energy, professionalism, intelligence and compassion, Jo’s love for God and young people shines the moment you meet her.
