YMT Melbourne has been based in Burwood since the first team arrived in 1998. They work extensively throughout Victoria and Tasmania, from Sacred Heart College, Kyneton, to Lavalla College, Traralgon, to St Mary’s College, Hobart. In particular, they work extensively with St Monica’s College, Epping and Marcelin College, Bulleen. With a very full calendar YMT Melbourne facilitates approximately 50 reflection days per year as well as 4 Anchor Weekends at the end of each term. On top of this they also run a weekly youth group called ‘Elevate’, which is held every Friday night at St Benedict’s Parish, Burwood, from 6:30pm. A young and vibrant team in 2006, they are continuing to build on the foundations laid down over the previous eight years.
